DEEP DIVE DIVISION
Deep Dive Division was established in 2018 by Tua and Courtney Karalus, and is has its Headquarters in Hamilton, Waikato. Tua has 16 years experience as a commercial diver and has a BSc majoring in Environmental Science. The hybrid of the two skill sets highlighted the gap in the market where commercial diving was not being met with scientific solutions that would enhance environmental outcomes.
The concept that underpins the work of Deep Dive Division is to create a symbiotic relationship between people and the environment. We must be kaitiaki through action, leaders through example and collaborators with our work to make positive social and environmental impact.
Tua is of Samoan descent and he carries the Pauli title from Salelologa, Samoa and Courtney’s tribal affiliation Ngati Haua, Waikato Tainui – culture and the environment became infused in their business model and shapes the way Deep Dive Division partners with their clients.
The passion for the environment drove the vision to create Deep Dive Division – a company that delivered premium service, holistic analysis and deeper results. Deep Dive Division is centred on the health and safety of our environment and our people. Creating a good culture creates better people and optimum outcomes for the environment.
