Overview

>In collaboration with OceanNova, our team are able to utilise the USV to deliver advanced marine surveying backed by operational experience. Built from real-world experience and designed to deliver consistent, reliable outcomes.

The Challenge

Marine surveying is often limited by cost, logistics, and environmental conditions. New Zealand’s large maritime zone presents an additional challenge, there is too much ocean and limited scalable solutions to survey the area.

The Solution

The USV requires minimal crew for quick deployment times, with one system capable of running autonomously it operates where traditional survey methods become inefficient, costly, or limited. Working in shallow, nearshore, and confined environments it is one system that reduces cost, improves safety, and increases coverage.

Capacity + Key Benefits

The USV is designed for long missions that watch, map, and understand the ocean. Capable of 10+ hours of operation and extended range for coastal and nearshore missions. Built for repeatable deployment, the USV can be launched by two people in minutes. This enables surveying areas larger vessels cannot reach, reducing the cost per deployment while minimising risk to crew.
